Who we are
Four friends, one beat-up banjo, a whole lot of holler.
Hokum Jukebox is a four-piece outfit dragging the dirty old sounds of 1920s hokum, ragtime and jug-band blues into the back gardens and beer-soaked benches of present-day London.
We met where all the best bands meet — outside a pub, halfway through a pint, arguing about whether a kazoo counts as a real instrument. It does. The answer is yes.
